If you receive a message that says your product key is invalid or blocked, when you try to activate Windows, then please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Double check your product key to make sure you are entering it correctly. Tip: If the Windows sticker is on the bottom of your notebook, then try writing out the product key on a piece of paper or type it in notepad.
If you are still getting the invalid or blocked message, then call: 866-740-1256 and activate Windows by phone. It will only take a couple minutes to activate Windows with this alternative method.
